3D concrete printing (3DCP)
3D printing of concrete used for printing buildings, furnishings, furniture and the like is a 3DCP (3 dimensional construction printing) method, thanks to which we create shapes that were previously not possible with traditional concrete formwork.
Emerging technologies, the future of construction, but also visually interesting products. All this is 3D printing of concrete.
For production, you need a robot, suitable material, a printable design designed in a 3D program and we can start!
Implementation partner
Scoolpt
We are good partners for your project! We will design, draw, make a study, project documentation and finally implement everything. We will also willingly involve your experts in all spheres of this work, creating a unique cooperation that will enrich all parties.
- Construction 3D printing technology allows you to create organic, creative, but also functional and durable elements.
- 3D concrete printing is suitable for both construction and garden concrete elements, innovative urban furniture, but also for sculptures or purely aesthetic accessories.
- We create 3D printed concrete flower pots, benches, tables, stairs, trash cans, but also sculptures, garden elements – all tailored to the given space
- In the field of 3D concrete printing, We were pioneers in the Czech Republic, we have the first 3D printed house. We therefore called this printed house Prvok and conceived it as a residential sculpture.

Process progress
Concrete 3D printing process
- Creating a digital 3D model. The model must take into account technical requirements.
- Preparing the material: Mixing the concrete mix with additives.
- Preparing the printer, setting the speed and nozzle size.
- The concrete is pumped into the nozzle, which deposits it in layers according to a predefined plan.
- The printer gradually creates layer by layer until the entire object is completed.
- Stability is monitored during printing – the possibility of adding metal reinforcements.
- After printing is complete, the concrete needs time to harden, usually 24-48 hours.
- It is advisable to wait at least a week for complete hardening.
Concrete 3D Printing Specifications
Types of 3D printing
- Creating visible layers
- Playing with layers and printing different “knitting”
- Printing organic shapes
- The need for “one-shot” production – in order for a product to be printed, it must be designed so that the robot can print in one shot

Why choose it?
Advantages of 3D printing
- Currently, demand is growing, as not only construction institutions, but also owners and architects see the potential in the use of 3D printing in construction (3DCP).
- The possibility of using sustainable materials – for example, slag or other waste material that will be used again.
- By using 3D modeling, which creates data for printing, the entire production process is simplified – allowing for last-minute changes without major costs.
- The digitization of the entire process saves labor.
- Lower environmental impact due to material savings.
- Unprecedented shapes and structure.
